Well, if you go to the book of Titus, there is a book right after that called Philemon. It’s right before Hebrews. Would you go there, the book Philemon. We’re going to begin preaching through that book today. Today’s message will serve as an introduction to the book of Philemon. Philemon. We will look at verses 4 through 6 this morning as Paul is writing from a prison hut, as such, that surrounds the Imperial Palace of Rome. Paul is writing this letter to the man named Philemon, and as he says in the early verses, “and to the church that is in your house,” meets at his house. You know the context. Paul is writing to this quite wealthy man, Philemon, who loves Christ, loves Paul, loves the church, but something interesting has...

Maybe that’s part of why this crazy warfare has been going on these last few weeks as we went into the True Church Conference and prayed, “God, bless it. God, make sure my heart is right. God, bless the preaching.” He said,...
